Simplicity
I find that the jewelry I wear the most (despire have a chestfull of pieces) is always the most simple. I am so pleased to have discovered Jess LC - as she obviously understands this principle. I am currently loving this bracelet from her most recent "Diversity" collection.

Puppy Dog in a Wagon
The Fairest Fair Isle of Them All?
I love Old Navy. Sadly, so little there ever fits me. I guess my body is just too oddly shaped for the brand. That said, I have been looking for the perfect Fair Isle sweater, and Old Navy just put out the prettiest (and most afforadable) sweater I've seen in ages! They have white and gray, I'm definitely a gray girl, and taking my lunch hour to purchase this gorgeous piece!

Delicious Little KnockOffs
Obviously, I could never afford anything at Chanel. While I worship every piece from every show and drool over their store fronts, socks at Chanel cost as much as my monthly mortgage payment, so a pair of shoes from the design house is out of the question. That did not stop me, however, from nearly wetting myself in pleasure over these...
Image courtesy of Sea of Shoes SO! I set about a search for the perfect pair of knockoffs. And while it was near impossible, I found a very Blair Waldorf pair I could actually wear to work. (Ebay, of course, came through for me.) Sadly, the seller was in Hong Kong, which meant in purchasing the shoes I was possibly encouraging the ensalvement of children for pennies a day to make shoes for stupid, rich Americans. I thought about this, I really did, for a couple seconds before I hit "Buy Now" and $30 and a couple weeks later these arrived...

Book Report
I cannot wait to pick up Miss Dahl's (grand daughter of one Roald Dahl) new cookbook "Volutous Delights". Not only do the pictures look dreamy but the recipes are amazing with all natural ingredients to make amazing dishes.
“There is something deeply joyless about restriction. Its self-inflicted misery. Starving isn’t sexy. What’s sexy is a healthy appreciation for food. There is no secret code to crack: it’s all about moderation and balance. It’s about portion control and eating food as close as possible to its natural form.” - Sophie Dahl

Crickey! It's a Gator
I love me some alligators and crocodiles! And not just as shoes and handbags, I actually adore these animals. So vicious and yet so adorable as babies - just like people.

This gorgeous ring from Forever21 must be mine.

OOOOHHHH Sparkles
Once I finish sewing Halloween costumes I have two JCrew based projects to work on. First up, these pants $650 at the JCrew. And they are FABULOUS. I'm sure I can make a similiar version for considerably less.
Next, this skirt, $275 at JCrew. I love the burnt gold color, and think I can make a remarkable knock-off that is relatively the same.
